About the festival
The 3rd 2026 Yeonglangho Cherry Blossom Festival is a representative spring festival of the region, held from April 11 to 12, 2026, at the Yeonglangho Lawn Plaza and surrounding lake in Sokcho, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. This event features a unique natural landscape with a cherry blossom tunnel in full bloom along the Yeonglangho Trail. Major programs include a cherry blossom walking path along the 8km Yeonglangho Trail, yoga in nature, and busking performances. Additionally, over 40 food stalls and flea markets will be operated to promote local content businesses through the participation of local small businesses. At night, a cherry blossom lighting tunnel will be created to provide beautiful scenery both day and night, aiming to offer visitors a perfect spring retreat in their daily lives.
