About the festival
The Hwangseong Lake Trail Festival is a festival held in section 5 of the Hwangseong Lake Trail, celebrating the beauty of Hwangseong Lake and providing a moment of rest in nature, known as the 'Festival of Rest.' The 5th section, which is 9 km long out of the 31.5 km total of 6 courses centered around the artificially created lake at Hwangseong Dam, features three observation points and charming sculptures, allowing visitors to enjoy a slower pace of time. Additionally, it is a festival where fresh agricultural products from Gubanghang and Gapcheon can be encountered.
