About the festival
A special festival centered around coffee will be held in Seongnam-dong, where young people gathered after the designation of the former industrial city district, blossoming a culture of literature and romance around traditional tea houses. The Seongnam-dong Coffee Festival is a citizen participation cultural festival for all coffee lovers. Held every autumn, this festival is planned and operated by local merchants and coffee industry professionals in Seongnam-dong, offering a rich program including hand-drip demonstrations, latte art experiences, brewing competitions, and tastings of various coffee brands. Additionally, there will be a coffee performance competition featuring skilled baristas from across the country, as well as experience booths, live performances, and a food market that families can enjoy together, making it an open festival where people of all ages can participate.
