Pocheon Pet Star

About the festival

The 2026 Pocheon Pet Star in Art Valley is an interactive pet culture festival where pet families and local residents can enjoy activities and connect with one another. Set against the backdrop of Pocheon Art Valley, where beautiful natural scenery blends with art, the festival offers a variety of interactive programs, including “Paw-sible,” a challenge to take on with your dog; the “Art Valley Healing Forest Trek,” a walk with your dog; dog Pilates; a dog Olympics; and a pet etiquette quiz show. A dog playground, a range of hands-on activity booths, cultural performances, and events also create a special festival experience for pet owners and non-pet owners alike. Through a variety of activities with dogs, the festival aims to offer special memories and enjoyment beyond everyday life, while promoting a proper understanding of pets, the importance of responsible pet culture, respect for life, and animal welfare. It also seeks to foster positive perceptions of pets by giving pet owners and non-pet owners opportunities to empathize and communicate, and to help establish a mature pet culture in which people and animals coexist in harmony.
