About the festival
The 2026 4th Gwangmyeong Cave Light Festival is an interactive light festival held in the Gwangmyeong Cave area. This year's festival, themed 'Forest of Light, Awakening Life', creates a space where light and life harmonize, allowing citizens and visitors to enjoy and participate in various content together. During the festival period, events including an opening ceremony, a drone light show, and various performances will take place, along with programs for visitors to directly engage in experiences, exhibitions, and markets. The event space will feature a main stage, media content, experience booths, environmental campaign booths, and rest areas, as well as a food zone for food sales and operations. The festival is designed to allow citizens and visitors to enjoy the festival and reflect on the value of nature and the environment through attractions, performances, and experiential content utilizing the spatial characteristics of Gwangmyeong Cave and light.
