About the festival

The Jukbyeon Port Seafood Festival is Uljin-gun’s signature festival, held throughout Jukbyeon Port in Uljin-gun from November 6 to November 8. Featuring Uljin’s fresh seafood, it offers a variety of hands-on activities, performances, and auction programs. Highlights include catching live fish with bare hands, a seafood butchering show, a cold raw fish soup performance, and a hands-on sea craft workshop. Park Seo-jin, Park Hyun-bin, and Park Ju-hee will perform at the opening celebration. During the festival, a fishing boat parade against the backdrop of Uljin’s sea and live seafood auctions offer a wealth of sights and food. Visitors can also discover local seafood and specialty products all in one place at a variety of booths. Bringing local fishers and tourists together, the festival aims to promote the excellence of seafood from Jukbyeon Port in Uljin and revitalize the local economy.
