About the festival
A family-oriented event will be held in Hongcheon-gun in conjunction with the summer vacation festival to attract family visitors and revitalize the local economy. The 2026 Hongcheon eSports Festival aims to strengthen the Hongcheon-gun eSports brand through a festival based on new cultural industries and to develop new cultural content. With a total prize money of 20 million won, it offers the highest prize for amateur competitions and has expanded to four categories, making it a festival that can be enjoyed by all age groups. Beyond just gaming competitions, it is an interactive event where the whole family can enjoy and participate in various programs such as VR experience zones, gaming experience zones, cosplay zones, drone experience zones, eSports coaching, and career counseling.
