About the festival
The 51st Gangwon Livestock Competition is a historic event co-hosted by Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and the Gangwon Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation to evaluate the livestock improvement achievements of local farms and widely promote the excellence of Gangwon livestock products. It has been held since 1968, boasting the longest history and tradition in the country, proving the competitiveness of the highest quality livestock products in the province through events such as the Hanwoo premium beef competition, and serves as a venue for the harmony of livestock farmers by rigorously showcasing the excellence of Gangwon Hanwoo to both domestic and international audiences.
