About the festival
The 5th Gunwi Samgukyusa National Family Walking Festival with Ingak Temple is a walking event where families can walk together in Gunwi, the hometown of Samgukyusa, experiencing the region's history and nature. This year's event, marking its 5th edition, is conducted in collaboration with Ingak Temple, known as the place where Samgukyusa was written, and aims to promote the historical significance of Samgukyusa and the cultural and tourism resources of Gunwi through walking. Participants can enjoy the autumn atmosphere while walking along the designated walking course that follows the natural scenery of Ingak Temple with family, friends, and loved ones. Alongside the walking festival, there will be congratulatory performances by invited singers Hong Won-bin, Park Seo-jin, and Kim Tae-yeon, as well as various on-site programs for participants. This family-oriented event allows participants to experience history, culture, nature, and performances all in one place, aiming to spread a healthy leisure culture through walking and promote the cultural value of Gunwi and Samgukyusa.
