About the festival

The Wangsaeng-ro Light Street Festival is a night culture and commercial revitalization festival held in the Munhwa Park area of Nam-gu, Ulsan, from October 3rd to 4th. This festival aims to create a unique night landscape in spaces where urban pedestrian traffic is concentrated, providing citizens with opportunities to enjoy culture and encouraging visitors to flow into nearby commercial areas to revitalize the local economy. On-site, high-quality light displays will be set up with media facades, street tree light shows, laser fireflies, and big mirror balls, while a variety of performances including stages by invited singers such as Min Kyung-hoon and So-hyang, DJs, busking, and street theater will be continuously arranged to maximize crowd attraction. Additionally, by operating stay-type side events such as food zones, beer parks, flea markets, and experience programs, the project is designed to increase visitors' on-site stay time and naturally connect them to consumption in nearby shopping areas.
