About the festival
The 2026 Wonju Small and Medium Enterprises Excellent Products Fair is an urban regional festival that provides attractions, food, and activities utilizing the industrial resources and excellent products of small and medium enterprises in Wonju. It will be held from October 2 to October 4, 2026, at the Youth Plaza in Wonju, hosted by Wonju-si and organized by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Economic Promotion Agency. The event will feature exhibition and sales booths for small and medium enterprise products, free experience booths, a flea market, food trucks, a kids zone, and a main stage. Experience programs such as making Kkaegang, mug cups, mother-of-pearl jewelry boxes, terrariums, drone piloting simulators, as well as children's economic education, cooking competitions, OX games, AI Golden Bell, and children's talent shows will be available for family visitors to participate together. The event is designed to allow enjoyment of local products, food, and experience content in one space, promoting local businesses and encouraging longer stays for visitors.
