About the festival
The 'Citizen Energy Walking Hanma-Hall' is an eco-friendly energy participation program organized to commemorate the 2026 Daejeon World Solar Congress (WCPEC-9). It is an event where citizens can walk together through the autumn city of Daejeon, directly experiencing the values of energy and the environment, and reflecting on a sustainable future. This event is a walking program that anyone can enjoy without competitive rankings, where participants will start from the Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza and walk around the Hanbat-Arboretum area while completing mobile stamp missions. By completing a total of four missions through smartphone QR authentication, participants can receive a completion reward and a mobile completion certificate. Various programs that make it easy and fun to learn about energy will also be operated alongside the walking program. Taking place on November 15, 2026, at the Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza, this event is a special day for citizens to walk, learn, and experience the importance of sustainable energy and the environment naturally. It is a citizen participation energy festival where each person's steps come together to create a greener tomorrow.
