About the festival
The Miryang Spicy Taste Festival unfolds in Miryang, the birthplace of Buldalkbokeum-myeon, a symbol of global K-spicy taste, and Muan Matnahyang chili pepper. It is a festival that combines K-SPICY FOOD gastronomy, various experience programs, and performances, targeting spicy food enthusiasts. At the festival venue, visitors can experience the charm of Miryang's spiciness through food programs such as Chef's Table, Spicy Zone, and Relax Zone. Additionally, there are spicy-themed experience programs that anyone can participate in, including Spicy Challenge Pledge, Challenge! Fill the Scoville Scale!, Miryang Spicy Taste Hunter Association certification, and Gyeotopark SNS certification. The brand experience zone operates as an experiential promotional space through participation from domestic companies and brands representing spiciness, such as Samyangra-myeon. Various events and performances continue to enhance the festival's excitement, making it a representative gastronomic festival of Miryang where families, friends, and couples can create special summer memories while enjoying K-spicy taste all at once.
