About the festival
In 1894, we return to the day when the Donghak Peasant Army advanced toward Jeonju Fortress. "Moirangkke Gabojangkke" is a special historical and cultural event prepared for citizens to directly become part of the Donghak Peasant Army and participate in the heart of history. Citizens can experience the story of that day through street parades, plays, and hands-on activities, following the historical moments of the Donghak Peasant Army's entry into Jeonju Fortress and the Jeonju Treaty in 1894. This event offers a special experience that allows participants to not only observe a scene from history but also engage in the process of creating it together, leading to a more vivid understanding of the history and spirit of the Donghak Peasant Revolution, while feeling the significance of community and the value of citizen participation.
