About the festival
“Oroti, Madoro” is a special outdoor library event hosted by the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education’s Masan Library from November 7 to 8. The parking lot in front of the library is transformed into a reading space with green grass and parasols, where everyone can freely read and relax. Visitors can browse a variety of books, enjoy leisurely reading with free coffee, and take part in a range of hands-on programs. In particular, on the 8th, the large-scale group reading discussion “One-Day Reading Club” will be held, with 118 participants. Professional instructors are assigned to each team for this special program, where participants read books with family, friends, and neighbors and share their thoughts. It is an urban outdoor reading festival where visitors can experience reading, relaxation, and connection all in one place.
