About the festival
The “2026 Muju Firefly Farmers' Market” is an autumn cultural festival held to promote sales of Muju-gun’s agricultural specialties and revitalize the local commercial district. The event combines a daytime market for local agricultural specialties with a nighttime market, offering residents and visitors a variety of sights and activities. During the day, local farms in Muju sell fresh agricultural products directly to visitors, while the Urban Regeneration Hanmadang features hands-on programs for residents, including keychain making, mirror making, and tarot experiences. At night, food stalls at the night market accompany music performances across a range of genres. Bringing together the distribution of local specialties and nighttime tourism, this comprehensive cultural event offers visitors opportunities to experience local culture and enjoy a place to relax.
