About the festival
The Ulsan Onggi Festival is the only festival in Korea that specializes in onggi, which has been a part of the Korean people for over a thousand years. The festival is held in the Oegosan Onggi Village in Ulju County, where onggi is traditionally made, promoting the local specialty of onggi and contributing to the dissemination of everyday onggi and the development of traditional industries. There are demonstrations of onggi making by artisans, various experiences, exhibitions, and performances prepared.
