About the festival
The 38th Chuncheon Puppet Festival is the largest puppet festival in Asia. The Chuncheon World Puppet Festival features top artists and puppet troupes from around the world, with puppet performances, a large parade, and an art market taking place throughout Chuncheon-si, centered around the Chuncheon Puppet Theater. In addition to puppet performances, various programs such as experiences, exhibitions, and workshops for the dissemination and development of the puppet genre will be held. It serves as a venue for international exchange that allows for an overview of trends in the global puppet community and has established itself as a cultural and artistic festival that encompasses all generations.
