About the festival
The 2026 Disabled Arts and Culture Festival A+ Festival is a cultural arts festival where disabled artists, non-disabled artists, and citizens all communicate and blend together through art. With the theme 'Brilliantly Shining, Stories of the Star World,' it depicts the process of different stars coming together to form a beautiful constellation, connecting and harmonizing individuals with their unique personalities and talents through art. This festival aims to highlight the creative activities and artistic capabilities of disabled artists and to create an environment where everyone can equally enjoy cultural arts, transcending the boundaries between disabled and non-disabled individuals. To achieve this, it will feature performances in various genres such as music, dance, and theater, exhibitions showcasing works by disabled artists, and experiential programs that citizens can participate in directly. Additionally, it will expand artistic exchanges through collaborative stages involving both disabled and non-disabled artists, providing opportunities for citizens to experience diverse artistic expressions and values. It will be held from October 16 to 18, 2026, at Magok Square in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, creating a space for cultural and artistic exchange that fosters understanding of differences and shares the values of diversity and coexistence.
