About the festival
The 31st Hongseong Namdanghang Large Shrimp Festival is a representative autumn food festival in Hongseong where you can meet the clean sea of Cheonsuman and fresh seasonal large shrimp. This festival, held at Namdanghang, a representative gourmet tourist destination on the Seo-Coast, offers the chance to taste plump large shrimp in season, along with beautiful sea views and various performances and attractions. The 2026 festival will be held from September 4 to November 8 at Namdanghang, with opening performances from September 4 to 6 and Chuseok performances on September 25 and 26. The opening and Chuseok performances will feature various artists including Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, Jangdo-hyeon, Yudo-hyeon, Kim Jeong-a, and Kim Seo-yeon, adding to the festival's excitement. Namdanghang is not only rich in large shrimp but also various seafood such as mackerel, making it a representative tourist spot of Cheonsuman, where visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies while appreciating the beautiful sunset of the Seo-Coast during the festival. It is a representative autumn festival of Hongseong where families, couples, and friends can enjoy food, performances, and sea views all in one place.
