About the festival
The Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual festival held in spring at Seokchon Lake in Songpa District, Seoul. When over 1,000 royal cherry trees bloom along the lake, a breathtaking cherry blossom tunnel is created. During the festival period, various programs are offered, including the cherry blossom opening ceremony, busking performances, promotional booths, experience booths, a flea market, food trucks, and a cherry blossom concert. Visitors can capture special moments at photo zones set up along the walking paths. In the daytime, the bright cherry blossoms of spring can be enjoyed, while in the evening, the pure white cherry blossoms illuminated by night lights create a romantic atmosphere, making it a representative cherry blossom festival in Songpa District, Seoul for couples, families, and friends to create wonderful memories.
