About the festival
The D.FESTA Street Performance Festival, representing Daehangno, celebrates its meaningful 20th anniversary this year. The Korea Small Theater Association (Chairman Jang Kyung-min) will hold the '2026 D.FESTA Street Performance Festival' over two days from May 16 (Saturday) to 17 (Sunday) at Marronnier Park in Daehangno. This festival aims to build on the past 20 years and return to the 'street', the hottest heart of the festival. It will spread art beyond the walls of theaters into everyday life, breaking down genre boundaries and solidifying the festival's identity where audiences and artists can breathe together in the closest space. In particular, this 20th anniversary will fill the stage and streets with diverse performances, continuing the efforts to find the essence of the festival. By further developing the festival's inherent value of showcasing various 'performances' in the open space of the 'street', it is expected that D.FESTA will seek a new direction to become a representative street art festival in Asia. This festival will consist of one opening invitation performance, two production performances, and nine invitation performances, totaling 12 diverse performances for the audience. Especially for the 20th anniversary, the festival has prepared a variety of popular performances from the past five years and new performances across different genres to provide citizens visiting the park with a richer array of sights and experiences. Detailed schedules and performance information can be found on the festival's official website.
