About the festival
The 13th Nakdonggang Gupo-Naru Festival is a regional cultural tourism festival held at the beautiful Hwamyeong Ecological Park, based on the history and culture of Gupo, which was a representative ferry and logistics hub of the Nakdong River. Under the slogan 'Connect, Play, Meet! Gupo-Naru', it will take place for three days from October 16 to 18, offering a variety of programs such as performances, exhibitions, experiences, and food, creating a festive atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. It features a recreation area of the old Gupo-Naru, Gupo Noodle platters and noodle-making experiences, ecological experience programs, wellness programs, and the Nakdong North Fair, showcasing diverse content. Additionally, programs like the Gupo-Naru Song Festival and neighborhood open busking will be operated, allowing residents to participate directly, enhancing the joy of creating the festival together with visitors and local residents. After sunset, nighttime content such as the Gupo-Naru Night Walk and the Garden of Lights, along with the Byeolbadabu-san Night Market, will continue, allowing people to enjoy the beautiful autumn nights by the Nakdong River. At Gupo-Naru, where history, culture, nature, and people blend together, families, friends, and neighbors can create special autumn memories together.
