About the festival
The Gwangan-ri M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show, held since 2022, signifies that "M" stands for 'Marvelous', meaning 'amazing' or 'wonderful'. The lights emitted by the drones blend with the night view of the Gwangan Bridge, a landmark in Busan, providing awe and mystery to visitors coming to Gwangan-ri. The show is performed twice every Saturday evening (during winter from October to February at 19:00 and 21:00 / during summer from March to September at 20:00 and 22:00) for about 12 minutes and can be viewed from anywhere on Gwangan-ri Beach. From a regular performance featuring 1,100 drones to special events like countdowns, Seollal, and Chuseok, drone shows of various scales, up to 3,000 drones, are held. * Performance schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
