About the festival
The Gunsan Time Travel Festival is a festival that offers a special time travel experience connecting the past, present, and future of modern Gunsan, which holds the history of the people's resistance and the intense lives during the Japanese colonial period. This year, it will be operated as a festival created together by citizens and tourists through richer content and participatory programs. Large-scale flash mob performances showcasing global content from the modern era, the 'We All 35,000 Cheers' event that recreates the shouts of joy filling the streets, and programs like 'Gathering Time' where time can be exchanged for souvenirs, along with various event participations and discount exchanges, will be provided. With various experiential programs and nostalgic attractions and foods from the 70s and 80s, it will be a festival that the whole family can enjoy together. The Gunsan Time Travel Festival, which allows participants to reflect on the meaning of history while enjoying themselves, aims to be a representative festival of Gunsan that encompasses generations and regions, offering visitors a special time travel experience that everyone can relate to and participate in.
