About the festival
The Cheorwon Hantan River Ice Trekking Festival is a representative winter festival of Cheorwon County held against the beautiful winter scenery of the Hantan River. It has been registered in the Hall of Fame for the 'Korea Festival Content Awards' and designated as an excellent festival by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the 26th-27th. The festival is linked to the Hantan River Water Trail Trekking course, where visitors can enjoy the winter scenery of the Hantan River, as well as various performances and winter-related experiences at the main venue under Seungil Bridge throughout the festival period, including events like the 'Dungbaram Altong Gubodae Competition'.
