About the festival
To commemorate the 107th anniversary of the March 1st Movement, '1919 Seodaemun, The Day's Roar' will be held from February 28 to March 1 at Seodaemun Independence Park, Seodaemun Prison History Hall, and Wesley Chapel at Methodist Theological University. A commemorative event open to all citizens will be held to share the values of freedom and peace pursued by our patriotic ancestors. The historical sites of Seodaemun District will host a ceremony, a march for independence, and various experience programs, transforming the area around Seodaemun Independence Park once again into a sacred site of the independence movement.
