About the festival

'Suragan Tasting Experience' is a traditional cultural complex experience program that embodies the meaning of seeing (sight), eating (food), enjoying performances (performance), and feeling moved (emotion). In the 'Sojubang' area, the kitchen of Gyeongbokgung Palace, visitors can directly experience the dining culture of the Joseon Dynasty, with a variety of programs that combine tasting royal cuisine with traditional performances and games. Additionally, through experiential elements with court ladies, tea servers, and palace staff, visitors can feel an immersive experience as if they have entered an actual royal space, allowing for a more vivid understanding and experience of the daily life and culture of the Joseon Dynasty, while naturally appreciating the value of traditional culture.
