Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival

About the festival

The Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival began in 2017, organized by local residents. Except during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has lit up Paju’s nights every autumn as a signature local festival. Now in its eighth year in 2026, the festival’s theme is “Light Again,” and it will be held around Unjeong Lake Park on October 31. On the day of the festival, street performances and activity booths will run from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a lighting ceremony and fireworks show at 7:30 p.m. A special firebird display will also be presented, centered around Sori Stream. In addition, a light garden will be open from the festival day through December 31, showcasing illuminated scenery from autumn through the end of the year. The Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival is hosted by Paju-si and organized by the Paju Cultural Foundation.
