About the festival

"Changgyeonggung Night Banquet" is a family-friendly evening court banquet program that modernly reinterprets the heartfelt banquet held by Crown Prince Hyomyeong for his father King Sunjo. Participants dress in court attire as officials of the Joseon Dynasty and join the banquet with their families, tasting traditional court dishes and enjoying traditional performances and various cultural experience programs. It will be held for a total of 20 days in 2026: from May 7 (Thursday) to May 17 (Sunday) in the first half, and from September 24 (Thursday) to October 4 (Sunday) in the second half. Families can create beautiful memories while strolling through the palace at night during Parents' Day and the Chuseok holiday.
