About the festival
This year's Han River Festival gathers the happiness, joy, romance, and challenges that summer along the Han River can offer, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy. There will be a water racing competition where participants can ride boats they made themselves to pick summer fruits floating on the Han River, a night of binge-watching nostalgic dramas and chilling horror movies that remind us of summer along with late-night snacks, jazz music suitable for a midsummer night, a water drone show gliding over the Han River with lights and fireworks to the beat of K-POP music that everyone can sing along to, beats from DJs, hip-hop, trot, and bands resonating through the city skyline from an infinity pool, thrilling traditional tightrope performances at the water play area, and more. The coolest outdoor movie theater under the bridge that can only be found in the Han River during midsummer, a water picnic filled with exciting water play and diverse experience programs for the whole family at Seoulham Park, a DJ party and yoga session enjoyed silently with headsets for a hotter and healthier experience, and the 10th anniversary of the all-night Han River walk, where participants can sometimes paddleboard or kayak, and at other times, relax on yachts, tubesters, or cruises, all uniquely enjoyed on the Han River.
