About the festival
The 2026 Nowon Outdoor Library Romantic Guarantee is a reading culture event themed 'In the Age of AI, Ultimately, People', which operates book and reading cultural programs in outdoor spaces. It focuses on the interactions and communication between people through books in an environment where artificial intelligence and algorithms are widely used in daily life. The event will feature an outdoor bookshelf curated by librarians where visitors can browse selected books, as well as relaxation areas for outdoor reading equipped with bean bags and camping chairs. During the event period, visitors can freely browse books in the outdoor space, and various reading culture programs themed around books and people, such as book concerts and humanities lectures, will be held. This outdoor library event is designed to allow citizens to engage with books and culture in various ways by integrating book exhibitions, reading spaces, performances, and lecture programs into a single event space.
