About the festival
The Noodle Daejeon Festival is Daejeon’s signature food festival, hosted by Daejeonilbosa and sponsored by Daejeon Metropolitan City. Planned to discover new tourism resources in Daejeon, the festival offers a special opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of noodle dishes in one place, including kalguksu, served on the largest scale in the country, and the original flavors passed down through generations. This year’s festival features the Global Noodle Zone, where visitors can sample noodle dishes from around the world; the Noodle Master Competition, showcasing the creative talents of local culinary students; past Noodle Festival theme pavilions; and a spectacular Star Chef Cooking Show featuring renowned chefs, along with a variety of programs for everyone to enjoy.
