About the festival
Seoul Design Week is a design festival showcasing the advanced tastes of the global design city, Seoul. This year marks the thirteenth edition of Seoul Design Week, which will present a variety of design content under the theme 'The Design Recipe' from October 14 to 25 for 12 days. The DDP Design Fair, themed 'A Market Full of Tastes', is a space that completes the brands discovered in Seoul according to each visitor's preferences. It organizes the space around 'taste' rather than consumer categories, creating a stage where brands and emerging designers come together. The exhibition centers around DDP and Seongsu.·It will be held at major hubs in Hongdae and Seoul. From the works of 100 designers active in contemporary Seoul to the design process exhibition from overseas studios, and a pop-up exhibition filled with goods from 'Seoul Next', it will fill the entire city of Seoul with diverse inspiration and serve as a platform encompassing a wide spectrum of the design industry. In addition, it aims to enhance the global competitiveness and uniqueness of Seoul's design, and various side programs such as exhibitions and markets will be presented for the better life of Seoul citizens.
