About the festival
Gwanghwamun Market, which brightens Seoul’s winter nights, returns to Gwanghwamun Square this year. Now in its fifth year, the market takes “A Santa Village Where Time Stands Still” as its theme, presenting a special winter scene where visitors can pause amid their busy lives and savor the excitement of Christmas. Centered around a giant tree and a market village, it offers Christmas-season goods and warm food all in one place, along with immersive photo zones that engage the senses and a variety of hands-on activities throughout the market. This winter, visitors can enjoy a special winter night at Gwanghwamun Market, where the excitement of Christmas lingers.
