About the festival
While most festivals are held targeting only urban areas, the Rural Excellent Madanggeuk Festival started as an arts festival for local residents in culturally marginalized areas like the countryside and has now expanded to attract citizens living in cities as well. The Rural Excellent Madanggeuk Festival, where people gather to relax, heal their hearts, and enjoy together, is a festival where artists and all attendees enjoy various performances and games together in the yard.
