About the festival
Gunsan Jjamppong Festival is a representative gourmet festival that utilizes jjamppong, the representative dish of Gunsan, where you can enjoy the taste of Gunsan jjamppong filled with fresh seafood from the sea and abundant local agricultural products. Gunsan jjamppong was popular among the Chinese community until the early 1970s.·So·The dish called 'Choma-myeon', made with chicken bone broth, has evolved into the spicy jjambong we enjoy today, enhanced by the unique fresh seafood of the port city and the spicy gochugaru that suits Korean tastes. The event venue will feature not only Chinese food booths and food stalls but also various experiential programs themed around jjambong and colorful stage performances, promising visitors a special taste and enjoyment.
