About the festival
Under the theme of 'A New Rush of Culture', Janghan Road will transform into a car-free cultural and artistic street for one day, with performances taking place throughout the restricted areas of Janghan Road.·Experience·Operating a citizen participation program, the road itself is reinterpreted as a festival space. Based on the historical significance of Janghan-ro, which connects the era of cavalry running in the Joseon Dynasty to the modern automotive industry, a new journey is presented that transitions from 'horses' to 'cars' and then to 'culture'. This year, in particular, the focus is on enhancing participatory programs where citizens become the main characters of the festival, rather than just watching performances. Through unique roller rinks that utilize the spatial characteristics of Janghan-ro and events like 'My Car Becomes a Store Day' using citizen vehicles, the entire road is transformed into a massive festival venue.
