About the festival
'Jiri-san Picnic' is a walking event that started in 2011 to create a walking culture of reflection in Jiri-san. The Jiri-san Dulle-gil walking event is located in Namwon-si,·Hamyang-gun·Sancheong-gun·Hadong-gun·This event has been held in rotation among the five cities and counties of Gurye-gun, providing an opportunity to experience the nature of Jiri-san, local culture, and meet people through walking. The 2026 event will take place in Sancheong, starting from Sancheonggunmingeunrin Park, passing through Seonnyeotang and Hanbat Village, having lunch in Sancheong-eup, and returning to Sancheonggunmingeunrin Park via Hwana Pavilion, covering a distance of approximately 12 km. Various experience programs and events will be set up along the walking course, and after the walk, a picnic market and cultural performances will be held at Sancheonggunmingeunrin Park. A market featuring local sellers will offer food and crafts, and participants will receive souvenirs and a 10,000 KRW Sancheong Love Gift Certificate that can be used in Sancheong-eup.
