About the festival
Seonyudo Park is a place where lush nature has blossomed atop the cold structures of a decommissioned water treatment plant. The Yeongdeungpo Seonyudo Garden Festival is designed to let visitors experience the atmosphere of Seonyudo Park, Korea’s first eco-restoration park, and the harmony between nature and art. Key programs include Bird Walks, where visitors explore the park’s ecological environment and birdlife through birdwatching; outdoor yoga for families, couples, and others; and a street arts festival featuring performances by teams selected through an open call. The festival will also feature the “October Seonyu” flea market, planned by Yeongdeungpo residents, along with stage programs, offering plenty of attractions, food, and events.
