About the festival
As the year comes to a close and a new beginning is welcomed, the area around Samseong-dong Muyeok Center is adorned with fantastic media art and a feast of lights. The 2025 Gangnam Media Winter Festa is an end-of-year and New Year festival that presents K-Christmas media art, which reinterprets the warmth of Christmas in a Korean way, and New Year media art that brightly celebrates the Year of the Red Horse in 2026. It consists of two media art theme shows and four diverse experiential programs, providing visitors with vivid visual immersion and a variety of participatory experiences. From December 19 to 25, the Christmas theme show will take place, followed by the New Year theme show from December 26 to January 3, offering a special emotional experience that can only be felt during the end of the year and the beginning of the new year through two distinctly different atmospheres.
