- ▼ DDP Architecture Tour Route Configuration (Regular Course 60 Minutes) 1. Tour Desk: Introduces the history of the DDP site and architect Zaha Hadid. 2. Oullim Square: Explains the historical background including Yugujeon Market, the unique architectural structure floating in the air, and the space frame structure. 3. Palgeo-ri: Explains the connection between Dongdae Gate and the surrounding area, as well as the utilization of the space. 4. Igansu-Gate: Explains the restoration of the water gate of Cheonggyecheon during the Joseon Dynasty. 5. Hanyangdo-Fortress/Lighting Tower: Explains the history and role of the fortress walls, as well as the historical lighting tower and memorial hall of Dongdaemun Sports Complex. 6. Exterior Panel: Explains the aluminum panels of the DDP exterior and the production process. 7. Grass Hill: Explains succulent plants and eco-friendly elements. 8. Design Lab: Explains the design of children's space playground and internal structure. 9. Sculptural Staircase: Explains the design and technology of the spiral sculptural staircase. 10. Design Trail: Explains the structure and utilization of the trail. 11. Bridge to the Future: Explains that it connects the past and present. 12. Tour Desk: Tour ends and provides information. [Participation Information] - Tours are only operated at designated times, and joining during the tour is not possible. If you do not attend without prior cancellation, there will be restrictions on future reservations. Receivers and headphones will be provided at the start of the tour, and English tours are only available for foreigners or Korean nationals accompanying foreigners.

About the festival
The 'DDP Architecture Tour' is conducted around the space of dreaming, designing, and playing at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). This program explores the history and significance of the Dongdaemun area, centered around the architecture designed by Zaha Hadid, along with a guide. The operating schedule runs from Tuesday to Sunday, with regular operations, and is closed on Mondays, New Year's Day, and the days of Seollal and Chuseok. The operating times are 10:30 (Korean) for the first session, 13:30 (English) for the second session, and 15:30 (Korean) for the third session. The tour location is the DDP Museum Tour Desk on the first floor, and the duration is approximately 60 minutes. Participants must be at least 13 years old (middle school students), and those under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation methods include online reservations and on-site registration. Online reservations can be made through the DDP website (https://ddp.or.kr/?menuno=797), and on-site registration is available only for remaining seats starting 10 minutes before the tour begins.
