About the festival
Golcheoreum, located in Seonheul 2-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju, is a hidden cherry blossom spot that the village residents have lovingly cultivated for over 20 years. The name comes from the shape of the hill resembling a 'golche' (a type of basket), and it is a cozy and warm place. Every spring, the hill is adorned with beautiful cherry blossoms, creating a stunning scene as the entire area is covered in pale pink clouds. The Golcheoreum Cherry Blossom Festival is organized to share this natural beauty with neighbors. The festival will take place from April 4 to 5, 2026, featuring not only a walking path along the cherry blossom tunnel but also delightful music performances and a food market filled with the village's generous spirit, making it an ideal place for families and couples to enjoy the excitement of spring together.
