About the festival

The Returning to Fishing Villages Cultural Festival is an interactive cultural event held in the heart of the city, where participants can directly experience the life and culture of fishing villages and naturally encounter the new lifestyle of returning to fishing villages. Various fishing villages and related organizations from across the country participate, allowing visitors to meet diverse resources and stories of fishing villages in one place. Attendees can experience the daily life and values of fishing villages through a variety of sensory experiences, including unique content and local specialties, making it possible to see, enjoy, and taste without leaving the city. Especially in the evening, a healing program is prepared, allowing visitors to enjoy relaxation and leisure in the city with videos and sounds capturing the emotions of waves and the sea, providing a moment of new transition in their tired daily lives and offering an opportunity for visitors to imagine their own 'fishing village life'.
