About the festival

Choan-san Sugukdong-san is a representative botanical garden of Nowon-gu, featuring approximately 10,000 hydrangeas of 17 varieties. It is an ecological park created by restoring damaged forests. Along with the diverse hydrangeas, it is highlighted as a healing spot with night landscape lighting, picnic areas, an ecological pond, and waterfalls. From June 20 (Sat) to June 21 (Sun), 2026, food booths and 12 food trucks offering craft beer, coffee, and more will be in operation, with performances by Jang Sa-ik, Tei, the Western Symphony Orchestra, and busking. The festival runs from 1 PM to 9 PM, with performances starting at 4 PM. Parking is not available within Sugukdong-san, so public transportation is recommended. Temporary parking for hydrangea visitors is available within a 5-minute walk at Sinchang Middle School, Wolgye Elementary School, and Wolgye High School.
