About the festival
The 2026 Korea Urban and Regional Innovation Industry Expo will be held from September 29 to October 2 at Osco in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Chungcheongbuk-do, Cheongju-si, the Urban Regeneration Industry Promotion Association, and Yonhap News. This event encompasses innovation across urban and regional areas, serving as the largest urban innovation expo in the country where various stakeholders from industry, technology, and policy gather to share information and seek collaboration opportunities. It has been held annually since 2019 and has established itself as a platform for cooperation among the public, private, and academic sectors. In addition to promotional booths from government ministries, local governments, and companies, various accompanying events such as seminars and performance sharing sessions will also be held to share the achievements and visions of urban and regional innovation.
