The second fiber planning exhibition of the Ulan Cultural Foundation, "Texture of Rest," offers a time to 'weave' the scattered self through the unique properties of fiber, 'connection' and 'patience,' for modern individuals who are losing their sense of self amidst a flood of information and relationships. In this exhibition, fiber transcends being a mere object of appreciation, crossing the threshold of our inner selves, honestly penetrating the depths of pain, and presenting a 'living journey of healing' toward true peace. This suggests that true peace can only be faced when we confront pain rather than turning away from it. It is an exhibition where one can experience the purified texture of rest that can be reached by momentarily silencing external noise and engaging in a dense dialogue with one's inner self.
