About the festival
The 'Munrae Arts Festival' (formerly the Yeongdeungpo Network Arts Festival) is a cultural arts festival planned based on the unique regional characteristics of Munrae-dong, where precision processing industry spaces coexist with artists' creative spaces. During the festival period, alleys and various spaces in Munrae-dong transform into exhibition halls and performance venues, vividly showcasing the unique charm of Munrae-dong, where industry and art coexist in everyday life. The main programs consist of three themes: 'Open Studio', where artists from the 'Munrae Hyperlink' exhibition open their studios for visitors to closely encounter their works and creative processes; 'Street Festival', featuring performances, media facades, DJ performances, and markets set against the backdrop of the alleys; and more. Visitors can freely enjoy exhibitions and performances while walking through Munrae-dong, experiencing the charm of the area where daily life and art blend together.
