About the festival
The 1st Yeongdeungpo Book Festa 'Oneulman Book Club' is a representative reading culture brand festival of Yeongdeungpo-gu, organized in collaboration with libraries, centered around Munraegeunrin Park, an open green space in the city. This festival is promoted in connection with the 'Seoul Outdoor Library' brand, aiming to enrich opportunities for citizens to enjoy reading culture through books and libraries. The event will offer a variety of content including library booths, reading zones, book talks, and book-themed relaxation areas. The library booths will operate various library content and experiential programs, while the reading zone will provide a self-directed reading space utilizing the park's green environment. Additionally, there will be book talk programs for discussions between authors and readers, as well as a book-themed relaxation space for enjoying quiet moments with books. Ultimately, this event combines the spatial elements of the outdoor park with the cultural content of libraries to invigorate reading culture as a representative local event.
