About the festival
An old and worn-out multi-family house in the outskirts of Seoul. Neighbors with their own stories and deficiencies live here. On a summer day when the scorching sun was shining, an incident occurred in the small garden on the roof of the villa, where an elderly man named Gwangja was modestly growing peppers; all the peppers disappeared. The culprit who took all the peppers was none other than a neighbor named Hyeonja, who also lived in the same villa. The neighbors began to talk about it, but especially in the eyes of Hyeontae from room 301, this 'pepper theft incident' did not seem like a trivial matter. It was related to the deteriorating world. Hyeontae's words made everyone uncomfortable, including his family and all the villa residents, but only one person, Dongkyo from room 303, began to help Hyeontae for an unknown reason. This quarrel between neighbors, which started over some peppers, began to escalate into a huge commotion involving the entire villa.
